and then the old man suddenly disappeared into thin air. As the day of closing approaches, people who have various emotions and memories of the theater come to pay their respects, reminiscing about their past and their youth. On the final day, the once-desolate theater is filled with audience members, all gathered to watch the last film to ever be shown on its screen. It is then that Asuka, the new employee, sees the old man again, but this time he speaks in Chinese and they have a meaningful conversation.
